(BTW, I don’t know about anyone else, but I wouldn’t worry about keeping the store open longer. I got the stuff I wanted, and am unlikely to buy anything else in the future. (Watch, now I’ll find a PERFECT occasion to wear a baby donut T-shirt, and I’ll be kicking myself for not getting one when I could.))

But CafePress does take a goodly bit of work to get a lot of sales going since there are so many other shops competing for those ever decreasing dollars people earn. I’ve been open almost a year and am finally getting checks. Still lobbying them to get more plus size shirts in different styles and a LOT more colors.

Times today has several articles on the lack of clothing for average-size — 12 to 14 — women, or larger. By some LA Boutique standards, even size 8 is plus size, they say.

We kept it open until the money we had originally “made” (they don’t pay out below a certain amount) got eaten up with shop fees. Though now people have made some more purchases so I suppose we could get another few months out of it if we wanted to. :) That would just look manipulative, though.
