Don’t forget that if you want anything from the Shapely Prose store, get it this weekend! After that you will have to make it yourself with freezer paper. (I still want a Piggy Moo shirt, personally, but could never come up with a good design, and didn’t think Cafe Press shirts would do it justice. If anyone makes one, send a pic!)

I like the goal weight one but Cafe Press plus shirts don’t fit me right. Ah, well.

(I thought Cafe Press stores were free?)

Not if you have more than one design. We kept it open until the money we had originally “made” (they don’t pay out below a certain amount) got eaten up with shop fees. Though now people have made some more purchases so I suppose we could get another few months out of it if we wanted to. :) That would just look manipulative, though.

Ah. That’ makes sense. I’ve only ever made a single design shop before.

Maybe you have seen that the L.A. Times today has several articles on the lack of clothing for average-size — 12 to 14 — women, or larger. By some LA Boutique standards, even size 8 is plus size, they say.

That is a bummer. But CafePress does take a goodly bit of work to get a lot of sales going since there are so many other shops competing for those ever decreasing dollars people earn. I’ve been open almost a year and am finally getting checks. Still lobbying them to get more plus size shirts in different styles and a LOT more colors.

Piggy Moo huh? have to see what I can come up with :D

Thanks for the reminder, y’all! I got my shirts just under the deadline!

(BTW, I don’t know about anyone else, but I wouldn’t worry about keeping the store open longer. I got the stuff I wanted, and am unlikely to buy anything else in the future. (Watch, now I’ll find a PERFECT occasion to wear a baby donut T-shirt, and I’ll be kicking myself for not getting one when I could.))
