I love it when people come up with scientific reasons to be assholes.
Its very similar to people who enjoy using the famous Eleanor Roosevelt quote “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” as an excuse to say blatantly hateful things and hurt people’s feelings.
“So what if I called you a worthless fat bitch? No one can make you feel inferior without your consent! A former first lady said that! its TRUE!!! So shut up, you worthless fat bitch!”
Awesome.
