It is SO FUCKING WRONG that there is no Shakesville right now, when subpoenas are flying, Giuliani is slagging off Clinton for his efforts against terrorism (?!), Elizabeth Edwards is slagging off Ann Coulter (!!) , and most importantly, Tony Blair is being compared to different dog breeds.

The last of which has led to just the kind of incisive, no-holds-barred political coverage we all know and love Melissa for:  standards for both the North American and the British Douchehound.

If you haven’t visited Shakespeare’s Sister today, you’re missing out, is all I’m sayin’.

  1. I loved that damn video of Anne Coulter being PWNED by Elizabeth Edwards. Because Edwards is being all rational and polite and Anne is interrupting and jumping to conclusions and basically being Anne Coulter.

    I just watched the Bill O’Reilly bit again where he called that kid a pinhead again and it just made my day, I swear.

  2. I’m so glad that she’s being called on her sh*t. I read her column occassionally, when I can stomach getting through it, and it is not well documented or written. It’s horrifying to me that she’s putting out there her angry opinions and what is she getting back…lot’s of media.

    See, a classy, calm, well reasoned response is never what Lady Douchebag ever expects. In fact, she expects people to call her things like “Lady Douchebag,” because she knows most of us can’t help but be outraged by her and respond emotionally. I really admire someone with EE’s sangfroid. I wish I had it. Maybe someday.

  4. King George and Dick have refused to comply with the subpoenas. Showdown at the OK Corral. IMO they should know better than to tangle with an old-time New Englander (Senator Leahy), but …

    In better news: Ann Coulter is sufficiently delusional to think she could ever win an argument with Elizabeth Edwards. And she raised money for the Edwards campaign, too!

    I am so in love with Elizabeth Edwards, I can’t even tell you. Have been for a while, but especially in the last week.
