Browsing through the archives. First of all, you seriously crack me the FUCK up.

Secondly, I love this Jansport ad. I was never a girly girl when I was in middle school or high school, and this would have 100% appealed to me at that time, just as it appeals to me now (although now I definitely love a lot more pink and glitter and ponies then I did back then, lol).

I am 26 now, and I will say that I was a girl who asked for my parents to by me a Jansport specifically. I was sick and tired of all my bookbags breaking every year, and I just wanted a fucking black plain backpack that would do its job. I had that backpack from 7th grade (*does math…. so 1994*) until a couple of years ago when it FINALLY gave out at the seams. Loved it.

wow, i used to work there too, being one of the youngest girls, and there were tons of things that we were working on that i thought didn’t have a problem but every time i’d go against the tide i’d end up drowning in those long ass lectures about how certain agencies don’t get girls.

yes, some of the ads sucked so hard, but others weren’t too bad (from a visual point of view)

sadly though, i did hate that particular jansport ad you’re referring to. sorry. but i do agree with the whole “you guys should make a commitment to us” bs. i didn’t want agency boyfriends, i wanted a freakin brand to make better looking bags, because i hated how jansport looked (i’m one of them youngins who bought their own bag)

man did i hate workng there…
